LLB is one of the most popular courses offered by KC College. The college has a nice management that is quite supportive and besides studies encourages students to participate in various other activities that the college organizes from time to time. Every week a lecture is conducted by some of the high profile current and former judges of Bombay High Court. The college provides various events and also takes us to the live court sessions to understand the real working of courts. The classes which were old fashioned have now turned into modern digital classes. The college has believed in best and therefore even with such a nominal fees has provided the top most quality teachers and facilities to the students.

From junior college to senior college I have been with K.C. College. The college has a defined way and that’s the way they go. The college classes are in the morning and therefore by lunch time we are done with the college duties. However every week we have seminars and lectures to attend. The moot court sessions also consume a lot of time but being an advocate is by no means easy and this is what the college has shown us. To reach the top in this profession a lot of efforts and experience matters. The college has indulged patience in the students as there are no free lunches in this business. The law business is something that maximum people try to avoid and therefore we are taught to make sure that people come and approach us. Thus I believe that college teaching method is different but something new for sure.

The gold medalist and the top lawyers at a point in time is what make the faculty of KC Law College. Not just their experiences but they also share the tricks that they apply in cracking cases. The theory and practical go hand in hand in legal studies. The faculty also conducts competitions amongst students and this is how they train students. Not just the faculty members but the management should also be noted for the work behind the scenes they do.

If the students are good enough they will be hired on themselves as we are also placed as an intern at some of the top law firms in Mumbai. I got placed as intern with Rizwi Associates and worked with them even after passing. Many law firms and some corporate houses came at the campus and the placement cell already notes our choices. We are offered internship based on that and are given moot sessions as per that. If you compare that with any other colleges of Mumbai, you will see that KC Law College has done well to make sure that most of their students get placed.

There are a lot of hostel around the college area and if you are an outsider you will have to look beyond the college as the college don’t have a hostel of its own. However, one don’t have to worry about the hostel part as there are many residential flats and PG in Mumbai and one can easily avail an accommodation in whichever part they want. Having said that one needs deep pocket to find accommodation in Mumbai.

The college is one of the best as the old heritage building gives you a positive nerd as soon as you enter the college. The Law college building is next to the main building of the college. The canteens served some nice Wada Paav’s and Misal Paav and after college, canteen was a hangout spot. During exams the library that is filled with materials often gets crowded. The court room in the college was the poster of our college. In terms of facility that college provided includes nice environment, hygiene bathrooms, water coolers, and modern class-rooms. The strength of Law college is 900 and are divided in 100 and 3 sections are formed. Thus there are nearly 20 classrooms in the Law College building. The college has done well and maintained the facilities that are in place.

The campus life was less extraordinary as the teaching method were unique. The sharpest teachers were recruited and they were the ones who made life easy at the college. They were fun to interact with and also the support staff that was so easy to approach. The college was done and dusted by noon and after that we used to spend some more time at the campus. The college was the place where we learned maximum things and that is why are called advocate today. The faculty was harsh on some days but looking back it was all worth the efforts that a lot of people in the campus have made behind us. Go and live your life to the fullest at one of the finest law college in Mumbai.
