The university campus is large and is decent and it is full of greenery. The play grounds are also huge. The fact that the college authorities take anti ragging very seriously. If someone is found in the act of ragging, then he/she is punished immediately without mercy. The faculties are helpful and knowledgeable. The institute organises events that are open to all, anyone who wants to showcase their talents are always free to do so in the various events that are organised by the clubs and other universities. So, overall it’s definitely a great university as teachers really care about what their students are gaining from them and that is the best part of the whole University.

Any student with 80 percent score in the main subjects of science in class 12 is eligible to get admission in the course of B.Tech. I choose for B.Tech in Computer Science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. In the course of B.Tech, the duration is of 4 years and it contains 8 semesters. Each semester consists of 3 tests, i.e. there are 2 internal examinations, and then the end semester. These examinations are conducted timely. In this course, you need to have 80 percent marks in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Computer Science / Biology, and English / Bengali or any other subject (best of five). Everyone is given a minimum scholarship of 25 percent of the tuition fees and later on must continue to maintain 6.5 CGPA to renew the scholarship. So, the course is quiet good and as AI has been introduced, giving the students multiple opportunities to develop new projects with unique ideas and ways.

Faculties are wonderful. They are hard working and well qualified. Some of the faculties have passed out IITs and hence the quality of education is really good. The most important fact about our faculties is that they are always willing to help us, even after the college hours. They really care about the knowledge and experience we gain from them and so they try to solve the doubts of every student. The faculty also teaches us the importance of behaving properly and regularity in class.

Yes, we do have a placement cell in our college and that helps students to get placements.

Hostel facility is available in our campus along with residential facilities in our campus. Hostel life is fun as we hostellers spend a lot of time with each other. Moreover, it is really essential to build bonds and stick together. Talking about facilities, we have a gym, swimming pool, volleyball court, basketball court, indoor court for badminton and table tennis, football ground and cricket ground. The hostel mess is separate for boys and girls and there are two canteens inside the campus. The new canteen is really good and has variety of food items to choose from. Medical facilities are also provided and free Wi-Fi is also available to the hostellers. The new comers have a separate hostel building in which seniors do not have any access; this is done so that any cases of hostel ragging don’t take place. Overall, the hostel life is quite exciting with the seniors and juniors.

As the university provides various different courses, it has different academic building for various departments. There are multiple building / departments like the agricultural building, the building of hospital management, the building of health science, the marine building, etc. The campus is huge. There are work field for agriculture students, and ponds for fisheries students. There is a workshop that is used for welding, wood cutting, etc. There is a swimming pool inside the campus, moot court, and other labs for learning. There is a basketball court, indoor court for badminton and table tennis, football ground, cricket ground, volleyball, etc. There is an admin block that carries out all the academic works. We also have an open stage that is used for other small cultural programs and the seminal hall for various other programs. During the rainy season, there is a problem of water logging and that is the only thing we as students really hate to face. The classrooms do not have ac's till now, but the labs and the library has the ac facility.

Campus life is full of fun and excitement. Events are organised every now and then and respective departments are also invited to those programs. The campus is huge so it isn't crowded at all, except for the fest and the fresher’s. The fresher’s party (Abhigraha) is organised for the new comers and that is a warm up for the most awaited fest (Impulse). There are other activities like photography competition, art competition, tech competition, sports day & tournaments, inter college competitions, intra departmental competitions and many more. So, anyone who is in doubt about events should become carefree about the number events that are organised by our university and just join and enjoy the moments. There are various clubs organising these events, like the photography club, the technique club, the sports club, the art and craft club, the musical club, the literature club and many more. They all work together to organise different events and make it a big success.
