Central University of Jammu Jammu Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

As the university is new, work over the infrastructure is still undergoing. Various buildings and departments are constructed as of now. ISRO and DRDO buildings are also there in the university. The university is spread in about 600 acres of area. However, the university is located in a village area. Medical room is also there to provide treatment along with ambulance service. The library is good but not spacious, sports equipment is present, but the playing field is yet to be constructed. The auditorium and the conference hall are very small. The Abhinav Teela is a small hill present in the university area, which is great for sitting and sunbathing in winters.

Overall, campus life was great and adventurous. The crowd is normal. As the university is new, the student count is around 1200 students. NCC and NSS are there in the university and I was a part-time instructor at the NCC. Marathon is annually organized by the university in the campus. Various festivals such as Holi, Pongal, Onam, and Diwali were celebrated. University also organized multiple events and seminars.Read Full Review

We have best infrastructure among all the universities in Jammu. There is main building in which library is located and separate building for all departments like Science Building, Arts Building, Engineer Wings, ISRO, and DRDO building is also present at my university. In Science building, there are 5 floors and each floor is dedicated to one subject as Physics, Chemistry, Botany, etc.

There is good campus life. We have fests and annual sports. Generally, in one week, two to three conferences or events are held in auditorium. In the month of October, we cultural fest and at end of December, we have annual sports events.Read Full Review
