Government Engineering College Rajkot

My experience of studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Government Engineering College Rajkot. My overall review of this college is quite positive. I have completed my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering through the Diploma to the Degree admission process from this government ran institute. It is hard to get admission in this reputed institute as it is Government Engineering College. Still, the admission process is simple, and you need to go through an online application form in ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses). After the application form, you have to fill in choices for your college according to your priorities. If you have well scored in your after 10+2 exams or Diploma, then you get admitted to this institute, followed by easy documentation and verification. Results for mid-semester exams are displayed in a couple of days. When your semester ends, you can get a Non-Objection Certificate from the head of the department to do internships or vocational training. They will sign if you are not sacrificing your lectures or labs so that you can spend your free time in improving your skills and portfolios. SSIP in this college is my personal favorite. Why? It is because this committee helps students in starting their Start-ups. Sounds great? Yes, this committee helps you finding out a proper way to launch your start-ups as well as patent applications and searching. You can get a grant of approximately 200K INR for kick-starting your business if your ideas get approved by this committee.

It is one of the GTU affiliated colleges. So, admitting to this college means you are a student of Gujarat Technological University Ahmedabad Gujarat. The current principal is Mr. Chandresh Vithlani. It is Government Institute, and you need to have an overall 75% or more grades for getting admitted to this institute. There is no entrance exam for D to D students. Students with a Science background will have to crack exams like JEE. There are two ways to get admission to GEC Rajkot. Either you can admit yourself after completing your twelfth Science, or you can get admitted through Diploma to Degree admission process.Read Full Review
