For getting admission in Govt. Agri college candidates have to qualify an entrance exam which is Chhattisgarh Pre Agriculture Test CGPAT, it is a state level entrance exam and candidates who qualify the exam get colleges according to merit list in addition also according to merit list other factors like reservation for ST, SC, OBC, Physically Handicap, Farmers’ Family Students, Nakshal Affected Regions, and also Reservations For Girls are provided in addition after admission they also get yearly scholarships. Moreover top scorers of the class or to say top 6 students of the class also get scholarships for their performance.

To study this course, an entrance exam has to be given, its name is PAT (Pre Agriculture Test), this test can be given only by science and agriculture stream students, and if you get good rank in the exam then you will be given admission in the university. You will get a university according to your rank and then you have to go to the university to get the documents verified. After the documents are verified, you can go to the university website and make the fee payment and you can start going to university.
