Overall Rating
My university experience was great, the campus was great and the studies were also good. There are many in Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya in which there are many different crops. Along with studies, I can do practical as well. I am very interested in agriculture so I have chosen this course and it gives me more scope as compared to other courses. The course I have chosen is good and informative.
 

Academics Rating
To study this course, an entrance exam has to be given, its name is PAT (Pre Agriculture Test), this test can be given only by science and agriculture stream students, and if you get good rank in the exam then you will be given admission in the university. You will get a university according to your rank and then you have to go to the university to get the documents verified. After the documents are verified, you can go to the university website and make the fee payment and you can start going to university.
In Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya the exam are held semester wise and the semester fee is Rs. 7,000 including the exam fee.
 

Faculty Rating
Teaching here is good and professors are also well educated. There are also digital classrooms which make learning easy and assignments are also given to the students. Group discussion is also done here, presentation is also given through ppt, and students are given fields for practical. In these fields all types of crops are grown, in one way information about all crops is given and students note it in notepad. And in the 3rd year we are given fields so that we can do practical and grow crops.
 

Placement Rating
Different companies visit the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya for recruiting students. Some of them are IFFCO VNR Seeds and more.
 

Hostel Rating
The students are provided with hostel facilities at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya. Mess facilities are also available for the students residing in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The library has more than 40,000 books and research papers. the campus has well-equipped laboratories. The campus has a community hall and also has WI-FI facilities. It also has facilities and proper infrastructure for indoor badminton, table tennis, athletics, volleyball, billiards, cricket, and football. The sports complex has multi-purpose gyms for boys and girls. The campus has 24x7 water and electricity. The campus also has a community hall, canteen, and dispensary. I spent most of my time in the digital library of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is very nice and the environment is also nice. My campus life is also very nice. After 1 year of taking admission in the university, fresher's party is organised, annual function is also held and every year there is a sports and cultural fest in which all the students of the university are invited. Students come to participate and there are many activities that are held in the campus during these fests and events.
