NIT Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure is ok as of now. The campus is under construction and needs to develop a lot. The library is spacious can accommodate up to 150 students. There are still some blocks, which are to be constructed for the library. After construction, the library can accommodate up to 500-600 members. There is even an auditorium and there are 3-4 canteens in our institute. The medical support is also provided 24/7. Every sport is encouraged. Almost each sport like Chess, Caroms, Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, etc. is there with coaches in every game to train. There is also an indoor gym.

There are very nice events and annual fests conducted. The frequency of the fests is around 4 to 5 times a year atleast. Coming to the campus life, we can enjoy a lot here along with studying and exploring the world. The nightlife here is so fascinating and lovely. Extracurricular activities are there too. The classrooms are very spacious and can accommodate 80 students easily in each lecture theatre. There are also speakers in the classroom, so that even if you sit in last bench you can listen what lecturer is saying. There are two libraries as of now and almost 60 students can sit in each library. There is a new library block, which is under construction, and this can accommodate up to 1000 students easily. There is even 24/7 medical support in the campus. The security is also very strictly maintained. Coming to the sports, there are various types of games like Cricket, Chess, Volleyball, Throw Ball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Football, Carrom, Soccer, 8 Ball Pool, and what not. There are even coaches for every game who will teach you and help you master in a particular game. Two canteens are there in the institute, which are open from 10 AM to 8 PM.

The overall campus life is so fascinating and wonderful; you will get a very great experience at this campus. There is some kind of event or fest happening every 4 months. There are many types of clubs like Photography Club, Cultural Club, Art Club, Social Reform Club, and many more, through which you can gain knowledge and new experience every single day. As pointed out few times, campus is yet to be fully developed as construction work is going on within a campus. But at the same time, institute is providing all the basic facilities, which a student needs. Campus is providing these facilities: Library, Common room in Hostel, Canteen, Labs, Lecture Theater, Football ground, Badminton court, Basketball court, Athletic track, Sports room, Health center, and Auditorium. Things that are going to be ready: Kabaddi court, Cricket ground, New hostel, etc.

Campus life at NIT Delhi is vibrant and thriving, with a mix of academic and extracurricular activities. Students will have access to variety of clubs and societies that generally related to technical, cultural, and sporting interests. This will help in the overall development. Due to construction, institute is not able to manage funds and which is affecting in fest celebration of institute. The institute organizes various events such as technical festivals, cultural festival, and workshops. It provides a space for students to display their skills and creativity. However, as the institution is still evolving, some students felt that the campus lacked a level of maturity in terms of social spaces.
