The campus is clean and well maintained. There is academic building, Central Library, Auditorium. The campus area of JGEC Jalpaiguri is around 118 acres. The classrooms are also large. The labs are also good. There are many books in the central library. The auditorium is so large. There are separate fields for many sports. There are many canteens in the campus area. Association. There are conference hall, meeting rooms, mini-library, guest rooms, etc.

My campus life is good. There is a Night school named ‘JYOTI’, where college students provide free education to unprivileged children in the college locality. It was formed by the 2010 batch of this College. Many events such as Hackathons, dances, cultural programs, etc. make the campus life so exciting. Campus is very big; we have one college building. 4 boys’ hostel and one girl’s hostel. JGEC is an old engineering college (1961est.) hostel buildings are not premium type but good. Here are 5 playgrounds available. And you can also see tea garden. And also available separated canteen. you can enjoy.

Campus life is decent here Dance club, Drama club, Coding club, Pandulipi clubs are available. Fests- SRISTI the cultural fest, JECLET Fest. JECLET is one of the biggest fests in our college. JECLET is 10 days fest. Here lots of famous celebrity came. In 2023 Md Irfan (Bollywood singer) came in JECLET.Read Full Review

As it a government college and it is old, so infrastructure is not quite good. Some of the hostel condition is bad. But it is maintained regularly so its look good. Campus is so big, and it looks beautiful also as it is at the foothill of the hill. College building is as big as many classrooms remain empty.

Here you have so much enjoyment. There are many places near to the college where you can go for tour with your friends like Gangtok, Darjeeling. In winter morning there is very beautiful view. There are many clubs in a college like sport, dance, drama, music etc. is which you can join to show your talent.Read Full Review
