Assam University Silchar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of the campus is also impressive as it has all amenities a university has to offer. From central library to sports fields, you will find everything here. There are many auditorium halls for cultural and academic events. There are also a great number of canteens in campus where the products are priced very reasonably and are student oriented. My academic experience here has been great overall and I am happy about my choice of taking admission here.

My overall experience here is campus has been great. I look forward spending more valuable times here in this university. Many skill developing and fun engagement activities are organised by the university where students can actively take part and help each other in the process. They develop a sense of teamwork among the students and promote better relationships with our fellow mates. Many fests and events are also organised by the university all year long. The infrastructure at AU is very good and well maintained. The classroom, lab, halls are good. The computer labs are in working condition. The sports field is well maintained and playing kits are also available. The roads are cleaned and are smooth with no holes or cracks. The health centre is equipped enough for any kind of first aid situation. I wished there were more benches and seats beside the road to sit and relax.

The campus Life at AU is very good and it’s not the crowded. The students' union AUSU (Assam University Students Union) is a club that is run by students only. This is like a small politics. There is one president who is selected and is responsible for looking after the different factors affecting the University campus. Assam University conducts a lot of cultural fests and events. The infrastructure of Assam University is good. I like the central library of this University and it remained open from 8 AM to 8 PM. The library is so peaceful. The campus has gym, sports facilities, etc. The campus has indoor games facilities as well for the students.

The campus life till now is good. Every year, the University organise an annual Sports day for the teachers and non teaching staff. It organises various tournaments such as Badminton tournaments, Football tournaments, etc. Along with these, there are various competitions like online photography contests, poetry competitions, essay competitions, and more which happens on regular basis. I have created so many good memories in this University. It celebrates various festivals such as Manipur festival, Assamese festival, and many more.Read Full Review
