Tamil Nadu National Law University Trichy Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

We have various blocks like Administrative block, amenities block, auditorium, Multipurpose hall, boy’s hostel, girl’s hostel, UG block and PG block. All of these are very spacious. If there are any usual gatherings like workshop, celebrations and conferences it would happen in the Multipurpose hall. Recently we had an international conference on UN 80 for which the auditorium was opened. So only in very important circumstances the auditorium will be opened. TNNLU has basketball court, football court, volleyball court, badminton court and indoor playing areas. Also there would be an ambulance in the campus all the time. The campus is small and very beautiful. Also one can spot a lot of peacocks in here. Again I forgot to mention about the library, it’s amazing. They have wide collection of books and also we will have access to certain sources like JSTOR and SCC online. We also have wifi in the campus.

The campus life in general is pretty decent. But the main part is that TNNLU is very much fun. We often have celebrations and again one of the important parts in TNNLU is work life balance or maybe its study life balance. You will have good academics and fun here. Also if there are any festivals we would have celebrations for the same and special lunch. The campus is quite small with an academic block, a UG and PG block, a library, an auditorium. There are separate girls and boys hostel. They do have volleyball, football ground and a basketball court. But they are not really in a very good condition. The location of the campus does not add up to its pros, as it is situated at the outskirts of Trichy and takes minimum of 30 minutes to reach the main city. Library has a good collection of books and compliments the course.

They overall campus life is amazing. The college has a maximum of 700 students including both UG and PG students. There are both clubs and committees some of them are photography club, eco club, music club, dance club, MCC, ADRC, Legal aid, etc. Most festivals are celebrated with special lunch events and DJ night. The infrastructure is decent with all the facilities like medical help, canteen. we have everything inside the campus be it academics, library, canteen, food stalls, juice stalls, training center, badminton court, multi-purpose hall so it helps in easy-going and less wastage of time. The only problem is location of out college as it located outskirt and apart from few shops there is nothing worthy around the campus.

Firstly, starting with the Attendance Policy, it is quite lenient as far as my experience is concerned, for example, if you apply for the medical certificate and are deemed attendance if you have volunteered within the campus or went to the competitions outside the campus then the benchmark of 75 percent will go down to 65 percent. As Saturdays are off you can go for short trips if you leave by Friday evening to have fun with your friends, and getting the out pass is smooth as the warden of our hostel is very sweet and doesn't ask too many questions. There is no dress we have to follow for going to classes. During festivals, there are parties organized by the committee having food stalls and DJs inside the campus. As I am a travel enthusiast, living in Trichy is amazing as it is very close to beautiful places like Pondicherry, Hills, and Ooty all within a 3-4 hour's distance.Read Full Review
