ASE Bangalore is a private college in Bangalore, part of Amrita University Bangalore. The University has 7 other colleges in different parts of India. The Bangalore campus was founded in the year 2002. The first campus of Amrita University was set up in Coimbatore in 1994 and recently secured 5th rank in NIRF Rankings. ASE Bangalore has very simple criteria for admission. Amrita Entrance Exam Engineering (AEEE) is an entrance test which is conducted by the institute. Students have to appear in the exam and their score card tells whether they will get admission to the college or not.
It also takes students based on JEE MAINS and SAT marks. The other basic criteria that the students have to meet are the 10+2 exam with a minimum grade of 60%, and they are good to go if they meet all these criteria to take a bachelor's degree.
For MTech students, there is a direct provision if they are GATE qualified. Also, if students have graduated from any branch of the college, they are good to go already. The Bangalore campus also offers an MTech-Ph.D. integrated program for students, and whoever fulfills the eligibility mentioned above will get admission.
Students who wish to pursue the dual course of MBA-MS should have valid TOEFL or IELTS scores. The TOEFL/IELTS scores are just to make sure the English requirements of the students are met so that they can communicate once they land in the USA. The other minimum requirement for this course is a score of CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT.
Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore has many scholarships that students can use. If a student is GATE qualified, he/she will be eligible to get a monthly allowance of 12400 INR as per the AICTE rules. They are eligible to receive this scholarship if they are pursuing postgraduate studies at the institute. There is also another scholarship for students who are not GATE qualified. There are two types of scholarships for non-GATE-qualified individuals. One is known as an endowment scholarship, and the other one is a merit scholarship. For endowment scholarships, the top 40% of students who are doing well in academics are eligible. For merit scholarships, only the top 30% of students are eligible. Scholarships can be worth up to one lakh rupees.
There is also another scholarship that includes Amrita Chancellor and Meritorious scholarships. Students can only hold one scholarship at a time and it is valid for one year. The scholarships can be renewed based on how a student is performing. People who are socially backward or those who belong to weaker sections will always be given preference. The process is simple as students have to fill out the scholarship form and submit it to the respective department. The funding agency will decide who should get the scholarship. The college also offers an internship program for students.

ASE Bangalore focuses highly on getting students placed in their desired sectors. The companies and institutes that visit the campus are quite reputed and in demand in the market. The placement management makes sure that MBA students get placed 100% of the time, and meanwhile, management also makes sure that students get placed at higher packages. It also has 6 hostels inside the campus, out of which 2 are exclusively for girls and the rest 4 are set up for boys. There are chief and assistant wardens posted to look after these hostels. The hostels have all the necessary facilities that a student requires in their day-to-day lives. The hostel has a separate reading room for students to study. They can also read their favorite magazines or newspapers while sitting in the room.
There is also a sports club named Chetna, a multi-dimensional sports area developed to play indoor games. The sports club also has a gym with all the equipment. It is accredited A by NAAC making it the youngest university to achieve this accreditation by NAAC. The Institute was started with a vision of providing quality engineers for the benefit of the nation.

The book racks are well maintained and organized. The big reading halls of reference and periodical sections are very attractive and inviting. A special section has been prepared for the digital library. It is well furnished and has an illuminated ambiance.
