Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology [Sir MVIT], Bangalore Karnataka was established in the year 1986 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Engineering, Management and Computer Applications. Sir MVIT is approved by the reputed AICTE, accredited by NBA, and is affiliated with VTU, Belgaum.
Under the flagship of Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust (Sri KET), Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology was founded in the year 1986 in Bangalore. The institute got affiliation from Visvesvaraya Technological University and approval from AICTE. It is also accredited by NAAC.

The Training and Placement Cell of the institute actively engages in improving the personalities of students in all the required skills increasing their chances of placement in leading organisations. It conducts regular training programs for students in personality development and individual grooming. A 7-phased Training Program has been designed for the students of Engineering and Management.
