Sri Sairam College of Engineering Bangalore was established in 1997 under Sapthagiri Educational and Charitable Trust. This college has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and has been accredited by NAAC and NBA. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Through Entrance Exam- Candidates who appear for any entrance exam such as Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KEA), CET and COMEDK are provided admission as per the guidelines of state government. Students, who acquire a seat in this college after the counselling process, have to submit the required documents by visiting the college for admission seat confirmation.

To provide guidance related to placement & career and to bring about industry-institute interaction, Sri Sairam College of Engineering has established a Training and Placement Cell. It helps students through campus placements, and industrial training programs. Students receive training through various events and programs organised by the T & P Cell. These events help in enhancement of various skills such as Communication, Interpersonal Relationships, Leadership, Professional Interaction, etc.

Built upon an area of 70 acres of land, Sri Sairam College of Engineering has a vast campus with architecturally designed infrastructure. The college campus is equipped with various facilities.
