The campus of Indian Institute of Information Technology is very big. The infrastructure is also very good. There are many classrooms in college and These are equipped with AC. There is a single library and there are many lives in our college. There is a town hall in which we enjoy many cultural programs. There are two canteens in our college campus and Mini canteens outside the campus.

The campus life in Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati is very good. There is not very much crowd in our college. There are many clubs in our college and they are constantly organizing exciting events for the fresher’s and so we enjoy a lot in our college during the events. There is a single academic building with the library in it. The library has centralized AC and 24 hours Wi-Fi connectivity. The institute also has a playground where you can enjoy playing cricket, football and the basketball court is under construction. You have 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity in your hostels also. There are many canteens available both inside and outside the campus.

There are only 1,200 students in our campus so you cannot expect a very big campus in our institute. But yes, you can enjoy a pollution free campus life here. We have many programs organised by different clubs. There is many coding competitions organised by our technical board. The best thing about IIITG's infrastructure is that there is centralized AC in the entire academic block. We have an academic building, a faculty quarter, and a SAC (Student Activity Centre). All basic amenities are available. The best thing is the SAC. It has a well-equipped GYM, an indoor badminton court, a table tennis room, a yoga room and a recreational room.

Campus life is been good. Recently, the number of events happening in our institute has increased. There are two major fests in our institute, ‘Entropy’ and ‘Yuvaan’. ‘Entropy’ is our annual technical fest, which goes on for 2 days and have best technical events like Blind Coding, Hackathons, Cyber Hunt, Workshops and a lot more. Second comes the biggest and most exciting Fest ‘Yuvaan’. ‘Yuvaan’ is held in March and the excitement, the preparation, and the hype for this fest are amazing. Therefore, it is the best annual Cultural fest. The performances and the events that are held are best such as Treasure Hunts, Dance Workshops, Stand Up Comedy, Raps, Musical Performances, and seriously a lot more. The thing is that our institute started in 2016 and awareness amongst the people is very less which comes off as an obstacle while getting sponsors and but overall, fests are amazing. Then comes the clubs in our institute, there are 17 clubs, in which 3 technical, 9 cultural, 2 outdoors, and 3 welfare clubs. The technical clubs have Technocrats, Mavericks, and Coding. The cultural has Photography, Music, Dance, Poetry, Movie, Book, Fine Arts, and Drama. Sports have indoors and outdoors. Welfare has girl’s empowerment group and two more.Read Full Review
