Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Dehradun has a beautifully designed architecture which facilitates students with a lively and pleasant ambience. SRHU Dehradun is developed across a vast area of more than 200 acres and is surrounded by an eco-friendly environment. Additionally, the students can avail state-of-the-art facilities within the SRHU Dehradun campuses which are in 2 locations i.e., Dehradun and Toli. Academic Facilities
The University ensures that students are facilitated with adequate amenities to enable them experience a fulfilling educational journey. In addition to this, about 124 classrooms & several lecture theatres which are equipped with LCD projectors, smart boards, and high-speed internet are available in the campus of the University to integrate application-based pedagogies in the sessions.
Moreover, the campus of the University has 4+ auditoriums namely, ‘Adi Kailash Auditorium’, ‘Dhanvantri Auditorium’, ‘Vishveshwarya Auditorium’, etc. Additionally, about 85 to 400 students can be seated in these auditoriums. Furthermore, there is an open-air-theatre which has a capacity to accommodate about 2000 students. In both these places, a number of University’s cultural events such as fests, competitions, etc. are organised.
Apart from this, more than 25 seminar halls are available in the premises of the University which are ICT-enabled. Along with the same, there is a digitally equipped conference hall in which about 50 students can be accommodated.

- Library: University’s premises have a central library and about 6 departmental libraries in which numerous resources are available facilitating students with a wide range of information. Additionally, the library spreads across an area of about 3200 square meters and approximately 425 students can be seated in the same.
In addition to this, University’s digital library has ample online resources to assist students with convenience in accessing the information & data. The e-resources of the University include 1510+ e-books, 2815+ National & International e-journals, etc. In addition to this, there is a spacious reading area present within the library.

- Laboratories: The University has multiple computer laboratories which have latest configured systems facilitating students to work on their projects and complete them with the aid of technical equipment. Furthermore, there are departments like Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Nursing, Engineering, Management, etc. which have laboratories in which students are able to learn through experiments and applying concepts in real-time.
Some of the departmental labs of the University include Biotechnology lab, Forensic Medicine Research lab, Community Health Nursing lab, Business Simulation lab, etc.
Non-Academic Facilities

- Sports: The University organises annual sports meet to facilitate encouragement among the students to pursue sporting activities. Moreover, the University campus has grounds and fields for outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, and Kho-Kho. Along with this, there are 2+ Basketball Courts, 2+ Volleyball Courts, 2 Lawn Tennis Courts, 5+ Badminton Courts, etc. present at the premises of the University.
The indoor games facilities offered to the students at the campus are Table Tennis Tables, Carrom Boards, Badminton Court, and Chess Boards.
- Hostel: Approximately 8 hostels are present at the SRHU Dehradun campus from which about 2 are for females, 3 are for males, and remaining are for PG program students. Furthermore, the AC & Non-AC hostel rooms available in the hostels can accommodate more than 2365 students and are equipped with basic necessities.
Moreover, the amenities which are facilitated to the students within the SRHU Dehradun Hostels include mess, round-the-clock security, internet connectivity, medical assistance, etc.
- Cafeteria: SRHU Dehradun campus has adequate facilities to provide students a wide range of snacks, meals, and beverages which are freshly prepared. Additionally, the facilities include about 4 canteens, around 9 cafeterias including ‘Aanchal Café’, and small kiosks such as outlets of ‘Nescafe’ which ensure students fulfill their daily dietary requirements properly.
- Transportation: The campus of the University has a fleet of buses which are well-maintained to ensure students reach their drop-points or nearby public transport stations easily. In addition to this, the University charges subsidised prices for the transport as it helps students to manage their finances while pursuing education in the University.
- Healthcare Facility: Students can access prompt medical attention from the University’s super-specialty 1200-bedded hospital i.e., ‘Himalayan Hospital’. Moreover, the premises have emergency centres and several pharmacies to aid students with treatment of minor ailments and injuries. Additionally, adequate ambulance services are available within the SRHU Dehradun campus.
- Gymnasium: The campus of the University has an indoor and outdoor gymnasium which covers an area of about 125 & 235 square meters and aids students to train their body which would enhance their physical health.
- Banking: Students who need to withdraw a monetary amount or have to avail any kind of banking or financial services can do so through the 3 ATMs & branch of ‘State Bank of India’, respectively. Along with this, a post-office is available within the SRHU Dehradun campus to facilitate students with postal services.
