Dayananda Sagar Institution was founded in the early 1960s by late Shri Dayananda Sagar to disseminate committed knowledge to people and transform them into responsible citizens. The Dayananda Sagar College of Pharmacy started its journey in 1991 to develop highly-skilled, knowledgeable, and competent pharmacists so that they can excel in the field of pharmacy. The department of pharmacy holds practice in collabaration with Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore. With the perspective of achieving academic excellence, the college has a digital library that is enriched in renowned global journals, research publications, e-books, CDs, etc. It facilitates user-friendly services such as learning, research, innovation to promote existing knowledge. A membership card is essential to issue books or access any other library resource.
The admission procedure is managed by responsive committee that makes sure students adhere to the rules and regulations. Hence minimum attendance requirement to sit in the annual exams is 85% and failing to do so results in severe consequences.
