I opted for this institute because in my point of view, this institute is best in Chhattisgarh in all aspects like placement, infrastructure, and academics. Being in IIT is a positive side always. You get better facilities than other colleges and better quality of education than other colleges. Also being a new IIT the infrastructure is top notch, located in a peaceful area of Durg Bhilai. IIT Bhilai is a good place to study.Read Full Review

I chose IIT Bhilai because my rank in JEE Advance. One of the other reasons why I chose this institute was because of one of my parent’s friend's son studying there. I could have gotten CSE in some of the good NITs but the IIT tag seemed very promising so I went for it. My experience over here has been average. When we first arrived, we were still in the transit campus but were shifted to the permanent campus in my second year. There were only 5 branches initially in UG program but now there are 7. The institute is new therefore, the infrastructure is significantly better than some of the older IITs. Being new has also resulted in some of the technology not being present here. The opportunities are coming up and fewer people also mean more opportunity. I get many opportunities here since the number of students is less.Read Full Review
