BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences popularly known as BGSGIMS established in the year 2013 in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a private institution affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences having all the courses approved by the Medical Council of India. The college is associated with Sri Adichuchanagiri Shikshana Trust started in the year 1973 with the motive of upgrading the medical and educational services. The institute is equipped with some of the most advanced teaching and learning practice for both teachers and students.
BGSGIMS offers a full time five years course of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The selection process is based on the scores of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka government, and COMED-K conducted by Private Medical Colleges of Karnataka.
Students must follow the rules and regulations of the college maintaining the required percentage of attendance. To sit in the Semester End Examination, students must fulfill the attendance requirement. Attendance must be above 80% in theory and practical to give the final examination.

The library aims to respond to the needs of the students to create an atmosphere of learning. It is having photocopy, scanning, and printout facilities. The library is open on all working days having 400 seating capacity. Students are provided with separate reading rooms where they can study and read their materials. It has the membership of HELINET providing access to a large collection of e-resources including e-journals, e-books, etc.
