To begin with, it is important to have studied PCM/B in XII grade to enroll in Bachelor of Pharmacy. The course as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India consists of chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, microbiology, and other subjects divided over four years. With the Bachelor of Pharmacy program, the institution aims at giving skillful and competent pharmacists to society. The aim is also to create pharmacy professionals who can give enough information to the patients regarding medicines and alert physicians in case of an error in prescriptions.

Along with quality education, the college aims at encouraging students to take part in research activities. I felt a lot of the subjects and syllabus was a burden as few subjects feel irrelevant to the course. Practical experiments are a major part of the curriculum, and it is extremely vital to get thorough with those too. The laboratory sessions are important keeping in mind the exposure to practical applications of the topics. The college has an extensive scholarship program for students from all sections of society. The office desk also helps students in obtaining several other scholarships to benefit studies.

The college has divided courses quite well as all the subjects that it covers in the 4 years are sufficient to have a safe and sound knowledge about Pharmacy. The college by the way it has conducted its academics have given competent and skilled pharmacists. The college in its education program also teaches students the value that they bring to the society and never make the profession just to earn wealth. The research activities that are associated with the course is simply great. We had a lot of fun all the while and don’t think can thank the University enough for that. The Academic part of the University is unquestionable, and one shouldn’t think twice before taking admission in the college.
