Yenepoya Medical College Faculty Profile, Mangalore

The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Most of them hold MD or PhD degrees. The teaching methods are PPT based lectures, blackboard and clinical demonstrations. For theory, subjects PPT are mostly used. We also have small group discussions; problem based learning and interactive sessions especially during practicals and clinical exposure. The faculties are very responsive when it comes to clearing doubts. The teacher to student ratio is good especially during lab sessions and clinical research. They ensure each student get attention and can actively participate in discussions and case studies. Most of the professors are approachable and friendly. The professors here are highly intelligent persons who are excellent in the subject and also in communication skills. We the PGs were treated like staff here with huge respect and the lectures were very friendly with the students.
