CMR University, School of Legal Studies is a private educational institution started in the year 2003. The institute was brought into existence to provide higher education and help students make a reputed career in the field of Law. The school of law is affiliated with Bar Council of India (BCI). The management of CMR University, Bangalore works under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) T. R. Subramanya (Dean).

The college confirms its status with Grant-in-aid College which means that the government fixes all the fees and facilities for students. The college offers a five years B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and a one-year LL.M courses along with Ph.D. & Post Graduate Diploma courses. Admissions are open for the students who have qualified their 12th from a recognized board. The students are required to clear the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and Law School Admission Test (LSAT) that serves as a qualifying examination of the university.
