Just go back to the history of B-School and check their modules of studies. Industrial visits every quarter workshops weekly, and on-site events monthly. SOIL is here to change that history, as this is a modern Institute where companies come and do their workshops every odd day. To make students industry ready from the campus itself is the motto of SOIL and SOIL has been working exceptionally hard on it. However, those hard chewing gums are for students to bite because the faculties will do their bit and you will have your weekly schedule in front of you. So, all those who can't follow the schedule are going to have a tough time, because I had a real tough time getting through the Yo-Yo tests of SOIL. However, one thing for sure is that I have enjoyed doing every damn thing at SOIL.

I will pair the academics of SOIL with IIMs. I know you might say what, but look; IIM teaches you for two years and teaches the same things that we did in one year. IIM students may have learned everything in detail, but we too acquired the same knowledge. I was quite happy with the academics that happened at SOIL, especially because it all ended in a year. I didn't have the energy left in me to continue it for another year. If there's a thing that can help you move on at the campus, it is academics and SOIL knows that, so that's why they have made academics their strongest point.

Firstly, here it is not like mid-semesters or end semesters as module papers were to be solved. Practicals carried a lot of weightage and practicals here were real corporate projects that were assigned directly from the corporate houses. So, the education part was the greenest grass of the Institute. Education here took me to hell and back because it didn't end. I thought, ok, I am done, but no, the Institute couldn't bear that because an industrial visit every second week and then the project submissions on deadline and presentations twice in a week. SOIL is for those who can keep up or rather step up because you will be doing two years of studies in a year.
