College of Medicine & JNM Hospital Kalyani Nadia Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college, hostel and the hospital have separate areas which are separate. The hospital is situated in between the college and the hostel. Campus size is huge. Our auditorium is one of the largest amongst all medical colleges. Both outdoor and indoor sports facilities are also available in the campus. Infrastructure is fine but needs significant improvement in some areas. My favorite thing about the college is its huge campus and the structure of our academic building.

Overall campus Life is fine. It's a happening place. Something or the other keeps on happening in the campus. We also have nursing and paramedical College in the same campus. Our college’s teams participate in various inter college events organised throughout the year. The annual college fest 'Kaizma' is celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal in the month of September every year. The academic block at College of Medicine & JNM Hospital Kalyani has vide number of departments like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, FMT, pharmacology, microbiology, pathology, and community medicine. There are labs in each department. There are 4 large capacity lecture theatres too with AC. There’s a two storied AC library as well. Lecture theatre cum seminar hall is present in the hospital building. There are no student groups, no sports team except for football. There is also a large auditorium with the highest seating capacity in any state medical college. Rest of the labs and departments are present in the hospital building.

Campus life is average. There is not much to do. No fests or events are organized anymore here. Just an inter batch football tournament is organized. College crowd is average. My experience has been pretty good but I don’t expect it to get any better. Good place overall, but don’t get your expectations too high.Read Full Review

College location and academics are best, learning skills are comprehensive and clinical based. The campus has library, labs, classrooms with projectors and lecture rooms and the library closes at 8 pm. There are also Dominoes, KFC, Karim's, Baskin Robbins, and Natural's ice cream.

Education wise, this place has it all but in other things the College is average. I hope in future the College organise fest and events for the students and also extracurricular activities for students personal development. There are no cab services we have to take e- rickshaws only.Read Full Review
