Vidyasagar University Midnapore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure and buildings are really great, it doesn't seem like you're in a government college. It seems to be a private institute due to cleanliness everywhere. It maintained electronic items, fans, air conditioners, etc. Also it has Wi-Fi connection and a computer lab for bioinformatics.

The campus is generally crowded. There are different clubs in our university. The clubs are all active and the fests are also organised by these clubs. Total area of university is 182.75 acres, main campus is 103.75, and other is in hostel campus. Classrooms are not only well-lighted and airy but are maintained too. Central library has vintage as well as modern books. Central library provides many references and lots of expensive books which we cannot buy every time. Science block has separate libraries and they use it regularly for practical though it needs more modification. Departments of English has language lab too.

We have our auditorium as "Swami Vivekananda Prekhya Griho" and a huge play-ground. Campus has medical store, Xerox and print centre, cafeteria, ATM everything. Everyday a doctor remain present in the campus, even a psychology-treatment center is also in the campus to relax students.

The campus is very green and lively. Except the path and buildings the entire campus is covered with grasses. Flower bushes and trees are cut in shapes except there are a lot of flower plants. Special in winter and spring the entire campus becomes colorful And dressed in beautiful colors. This regional University is known for cultural activity.

Students welcome any occasion or farewell too with several cultural activities. The grand University fresher's is held with gorgeous functions of several artists. As I told you in overall review that how the university's beauty looks like. You can guess from there that the infrastructure of our university can't make any other universities in West Bengal. There buildings like sky scrapers. There is north, south, east, and west block. In north block there is all lab rooms and south block all classrooms and east block for administrative and west block only for halls and auditoriums.

Campus is around 700 to 1200 acres and its gorgeousness is awesome. There is no club but a society is here. And a library is here, it is totally free but if you don't have library card you can't enter. Fest is untold. It is an emotion of Masters students of all departments. Tech Fest held every year before the cultural fest. In cultural fest 'Baul' folks come and sing here every year.Read Full Review
