BTC at IMRT is a full-time two-year certification course approved by NCTE that enables a candidate to take up the career as a primary teacher. The course is career-oriented mandatory to apply for jobs in primary government schools. The candidates can also work as Assistant teachers after completion of the course.
Students pursuing BTC are taught the behavior and attitude, teaching tactics and various other things so that they can carry out their chores in the right manner. A candidate is eligible to apply for the certificate course if he/ she have passed graduation with minimum 45% marks in any discipline. The entrance exam conducted by the college is as per the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education.
