Gurucharan College Silchar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Gurucharan College has well developed infrastructure. Our department offer a good Wi-Fi connection all around the campus. All classrooms are good. The departmental library has many books. Canteen food is decent and very much eatable but it depends on the taste of the individual. Medical facilities are available on campus and ambulance services are there for any emergency. Sports and games facilities are amazing here; almost every sport is available to play and grounds for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and an Olympic-size swimming pool are there, along with a separate sports and gym complex for various indoor games.

I feel proud and thankful to be a part of this college. The thing I like the most is its atmosphere. Teachers are always ready to help their students in every possible way. This college creates so many opportunities for students by organizing other co-curricular activities. It helps students to enhance their abilities. Gurucharan College has of specified departments for Science & Arts and Commerce. The total area is about 8 acres. All rooms are of different sizes. Every department consists of different required laboratories and seminar rooms of their own. Labs in the college are well equipped.

My overall college life is good (being a student of this college for almost 1 year). The college can be viewed as overcrowded, due to the many departments. It conducts many competitions like Drawing competition conducts and they conducts annual sports meet. Many competitions for the games like Chess, carom, kabaddi, cricket, etc. are organized. There are many blocks and four to five departments that are divided into each block. Campus size is neither too large nor too small and it is located in college road, Silchar, a city of Assam. College has their library where one gets their favorite Books and study without any disturbance. It also has a field where students can play various games. The favorite spot of this college is under a big jackfruit tree where students gossip in their free time.

Gurucharan College organizes various extracurricular activities where all the interested students irrespective of the department can take part. It does not have their own clubs. They organize various fests too in different seasons of a year. They also organize annual sports every year where there are many sports to play and winners get awarded too.
