Yes, the university has hostel facilities but unfortunately not for everyone only those who secured good marks in their entrance exams and very few seats are reserved for other state students. Boy’s university has dedicated a separate hostel for BA LLB students "Shatabdi Boy's Hostel" and every year the hostel accommodate around 30-32 students. For girls a separate huge compound has been dedicated and almost all the girls get a hostel seats and very few of them are unfortunate enough to not get a seat. The University of Allahabad has a big campus allocated for the girl’s hostel. Inside the campus there are 6 hostels. Girls from various departments live together. Some are rooms are designed in a single seater, 2 seaters, and 3 seaters. The hostels are well - maintained and have washrooms cleaned every day. We get only vegetarian food which is a setback for other students. But they maintain hygiene. There are a number of boy’s hostels as well, which are distributed all around the place. But according to my male friends, the hygiene is not good. But they provide average food.Read Full Review

Yes, Allahabad University offers residential facilities at a very affordable cost for all the students. You can apply for it after getting good marks in CUET UG. This is because you will get hostel room according to your mark in CUET marks. Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate and mess food is very good. it is very important to follow the hostel rules and timings. Students can get PGs near the university.Read Full Review
