    SIBM is more desirable than a celebrity for MBA aspirants
    SIBM may be after IIMs in terms of overall rankings, but during a NIRF survey, a poll on which is the most desirable MBA college in India and SIBM ranked first in that. Academic wise there was little leniency as lectures attendance was strict, but you can take excuse from that, if you have a valid reason. SIBM campus is full of corporate action as B-school’s competitions like Abbott Business Challenge, Godrej LOUD, and ABG Head start were some of the competitions that were held at our campus. There were many other corporate events that SIBM is holding for a while now. SIBM students have at least reached the finals of most of the competitions. Studies from books was not just the way at SIBM as having business knowledge was more critical in SIBM.Read Full Review

    SIBM can change your fortunes
    The attendance rules were quite flexible as one can attend as many guest lectures and field trips and get away with a present mark in the attendance register. Copying during the internal exams and even during the mains was normal at SIBM as bookish knowledge was not the only thing that held the utmost importance. Core subjects were given the best focus as me coming from a banking sector the banking was in the core subject list of MBA executive program. There was no single umbrella for essential subjects such as corporate finance. Elective subjects included the likes of financial markets and econometrics. The most exciting topic or the subject of the program is equity valuation.Read Full Review

    SIBM needs no introduction
    I won’t say that course only covered the necessary subjects but many unwanted too. Increased subjects meant, increased hard work and a summer training after the second semester meant that I could go home only on Diwali’s were we had much needed 10 days break. Not to differentiate between other colleges or institutes but SIBM was expecting extremely high from students. Students had no option but to oblige as good CGPA’s left good impressions among the recruiters and the same company that offered 15 lakh job to 6 grader will give a 20 lakh job offer to 8 grader. We didn’t have a choice but to grind as hard as we can to make sure we fall under the marquee bracket.Read Full Review
