The Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University campus area is nearly 10.36 acres & it contains several buildings and state-of-the-art amenities for creating an ideal environment for the students.

Academic Amenities
For providing quality education to the students, the academic buildings of the University have a multitude of classrooms, AC deliberation rooms, and tutorial rooms. These rooms and theatres contain several multimedia facilities like projectors, AV tools, smart / white boards, etc. There are also around 6 fully-equipped lecture theatres which have sufficient seats for 60+ students.
An air-conditioned ‘Dr. G.K. Narayan Auditorium’ present at the DPSRU campus has a sitting capacity of around 450 students. Besides this, there are several seminar halls / rooms, out of which one has seating capacity of 50 to 60 students. The University also houses a boardroom (with 50-student capacity), conference hall, and audio-visual room. All these spaces are used for conducting numerous large and small-scale academic & cultural events.
Additional amenities like central instrumentation facilities, animal house, museum, yoga centre, and so on are available inside the campus of the University.

- Library: The library of the University is fully air-conditioned and covers around 4400 square feet area. It has a rich collection of 22,090+ books, 500+ bound volumes, 790+CDs / DVDs, and other educational resources so that students can have an excellent learning experience. There is also a dedicated reading area inside the library. Photocopy services, a rare book area, periodical section, and other services & sections are also available at the library.
There is also a digital library wherein sufficient PCs are available for students to navigate online study material using different databases like Taylor and Francis, BMJ, Springer Nature, Elsevier, Science Direct, etc. The stack area of the library has a capacity of about 100 students.
- Laboratories: A Computer Centre, around 2 computer labs, and IT labs have a number of computer systems, which students can use to improve their technical skills. Apart from that, various departments of the University have several laboratories so that students can perform experiments and improve their practical knowledge.
Pharmaceutics labs, Drug Regulatory Affairs lab, Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab, Anatomy lab, and other departmental laboratories of the University contain numerous instruments & equipment.
Non- Academic Amenities
Aside from the educational amenities, the campus of the University offers a wide array of non-academic facilities to ensure all round development of the students; some of these are India International Hospitality Centre (guesthouse), parking, round-the-clock security, power backup, etc.

- Sports: A huge ‘Sports Complex’ is available at the DPSRU campus, wherein athletic track as well as fields and courts Cricket, Football, Basketball, Badminton, and many other sports are available. The University also has adequate amenities for indoor sports like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, etc.
Annual sports meet, and other tournaments are held on a regular basis in which students of the University can participate to improve their sporting skills and enjoy their campus life.
- Hostel: To provide safe and comfortable accommodation to outstation students, the University has separate girls’ & boys’ hostels within its premises. All such residences of the Institution have numerous rooms wherein amenities such as beds, chairs, study desks, and other necessary amenities are present as well.
The DPSRU Hostels also have other facilities like mess / dining hall, round the clock security, gym, and many others to make sure that residents have an excellent living experience.
- Food Court / Canteen: The University houses an air-conditioned food court / canteen where a variety of food options are available for the students. An outlet of ‘Mother Dairy’ is also present at the campus.
- Medical Facilities: Within the DPSRU campus, a first aid room is available to provide students with quality first aid care. There is also a Medical Unit wherein competent doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff are available who offer specialised healthcare assistance to the students.
- Gymnasium: Fitness machines and tools like treadmill, dumbbells, leg press, & others are available at the University’s gym so that students can workout & maintain their health and wellbeing.
- Banking: There is an ATM of ‘SBI Bank’ inside the DPSRU campus that helps students’ access instant cash.
Various clubs have been set-up at the DPSRU campus with the purpose to help students participate in extra-curricular activities and learn lifelong skills. A NSS Unit is also available & students can become a member of this club to improve their personality & other communal skills and contribute to the development of Nation.
