PES’s Modern Law College is a Pune based college established in the year 2003. This private educational institute started with a mission of building careers in the arena of Law. The college has affiliations with BCI (The Bar Council of India). Currently, the management of the college is working under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Adhav. The institute specializes in offering courses like LL.B and LL.M.
Admissions in the modern Law College depend upon the decision taken by the college management and after the approval of Pune University. Also, the admissions are given on a first come, first serve basis depending upon the merit of the student. Candidates must submit their original documents for scrutiny. After that students get admission in the college.
For taking admission in the bachelor’s course, candidates have to give MH-CET (Law) for B.A.LL.B a five-year course and MH-CET Entrance Examination for LL.B 3 years course. The Directorate of Technical Education conducts the entrance examination, Maharashtra Government.
The library present in the college has a stock of books on every subject taught in the college. There are journals, magazines, and periodicals available that students can issue for only one day. Students borrowing books from the library have to follow the rules prescribed by the library. They can keep any book only for seven days from the date of issue. If a student loses the book, he/she will be responsible for bringing a new one or doubling the amount of the book as the penalty. Students can submit their personal belongings for safety to the baggage counter.
The college provides various extra-curricular activities to provide a dynamic atmosphere for young minds and make them capable enough to excel in their field. The students of the college have received accolades in several cultural competitions and street play activities.
