SLA’s library or learning resource center is a hub of traditional materials and electronic resources. The center is designed carefully to allow physical and digital spaces to cater research and learning. There are collections of print materials such as magazines, journals, and books as well as electronic data and other web resources that can be accessed via a tablet or computer.
To maintain discipline, students need to follow certain rules prescribed by the administration. SLS has a strict attendance policy, and students are encouraged to have maximum attendance. A student whose attendance is below 75% will not be allowed to appear in end semester examination as it will result in Term Not Granted (TNG). The student will also be debarred to all privileges, such as participating in events like Seminars, Moots, Debates, and Screening for placement.
The institute offers different courses in the field of Law such as B.A/BBA LL.B (Hons), LL.B, LL.M and certification course in European Union Legal Studies. A candidate seeking admission in B.A/BBA LL.B (Hons.) must have appeared for SLAT. For admission in LL.B and LL.M, the eligible candidate must have appeared for All India Admission Test (AIAT). Admission in certification course is on first come, first serve basis.
