SLS Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune offers separate residential facilities to boys’ and girls’ students. The accommodation has all the required modern amenities, helping students live a comfortable and convenient life at the Institute.

The Symbiosis Law School Pune has 4 hostel complexes for females namely, ‘Daffodil’, ‘Daisy’, ‘Orchid’ & ‘Tulip’ and they can collectively accommodate around 1422 students. Moreover, 1 boys’ hostel namely, ‘Kopou’ is available. The Symbiosis Law School hostel rooms are fully-equipped and available in multiple occupancies including double and triple. The annual SLS Pune hostel fees range from Rs. 1,46,900/- to Rs. 1,93,600/-.

The students can avail accommodation facilities by paying the SLS Pune hostel fees which differs on the basis of hostels & the occupancy type of rooms. The seats in the hostels are limited and allotted on a first come first serve basis.

* Students should note that they need to pay a mess fee of Rs. 1,04,000/- and a refundable deposit of Rs. 20,000/- along with the above-given fees.

Note: It is to be noted that the hostel and mess fees can change each year with a hike of around 15% & 10%, respectively.

The Institute has set some rules for students to follow so as to maintain discipline in the Symbiosis Law School hostel premises. Students should avoid violating these rules as it may lead to strict punishment.

Some of the rules and code of conduct that students should abide by are given-below:

• Ragging is a punishable offence and strictly banned in the hostel premises.
• Hostellers should strictly avoid consumption and possession of any prohibited substance such as alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc.
• The gate closing time of the hostel is 10:30 PM (11:00 PM on weekends). No student should stay outside the campus after the permitted time without prior permission from the wardens / hostel authorities.
• Students are strictly prohibited to use any electrical appliance within the rooms of the hostels.
• Complete silence should be maintained between 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM to ensure minimal disturbance to fellow inmates.
• Every hosteller must be present at the time of attendance which is 10.00 PM to 10.30 PM.
• All the furniture and equipment of the hostel rooms should be taken care of; damage and destruction of the hostel property will lead to strict punishment.
• Gambling or any illegal activities are strictly prohibited within the campus.
• Students should not interchange any fixtures or furniture with inmates.

At the SLS Pune Campus, separate residential facilities are available for the male and female students. The rooms in boys’ hostels are on triple sharing & at girls’ hostels are of both 2 & 3 occupancy basis. Hostel rooms are fully furnished with amenities such as a bed, mattress, table, chair, book rack, cupboard, and a soft board providing students an ambience to study and rest well.

There is a dedicated mess to provide students with nutritious and delicious meals. Moreover, there are dedicated wardens at each hostel to ensure safety and security of the students.
