Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

SET general is the entrance that has to be cracked with top positions to get admissions at SCMS Pune. It is not just the top college of Symbi group but also the one that commands the highest marks in the entrance. There's a hell lot to boast about the group and the college. The facilities, faculty, infrastructure, and obviously the placements. I will draw a picture of all of them so that I can describe my life at Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies. I sought the stay there and ensured that we have the best time at the college there was a CCD outlet, gymnasium, and various gaming activities. SCMS was not just about academic learning but developing respect and sensitivity towards other communities as well. I have lived among my people in Kolkata, and the city doesn't have people from such wider communities. All the states were covered as out of the batch of 120 that was divided into 60 the next year, and we had students from almost all states and UTs in India. The college has tie-ups with various NGOs in Pune, and it was great to be a part of many such initiatives.Read Full Review

It took a lot for me to convince my parents to let me allow going to Symbiosis for higher studies. They denied but after I cleared the entrance test they agreed. The test, mind you is tough and that is the only way to get admissions at SCMS. The college is great, and the best part is that every year students from all across the country and some from different countries too come for studies in this college. Thus, you can imagine how famous the college is. Loved being a part of it and those 3 years were the best that I had in my life. The college initially did give me a feeling of school as no other institute in the campus had a dress code but we did. This did piss me off but at the end of the day it was all worth it.Read Full Review

Symbiosis Center for Management Studies offers just 1 course and that is B.B.A. The way to college is 50+ score in your HSC exams and clear the entrance test that is mandatory. The management quota exists but the seats are less. Hence, try getting the entry from the main door as the college life at Symbiosis Center for Management Studies will not just amaze you but will also surprise you with the new things that college introduces from time to time. The Viman Nagar campus is designed in a way to give students the utmost exposure as there are various undergraduate institutes in the same campus. The campus became operational in the year 2004 and SCMS was the first institute that started in this campus. Symbiosis is a deemed university and one of the best in terms of parameters that are taken in consideration by rating agencies. This is why I chose this college and grateful that I got the opportunity to learn so many new things during my college time.Read Full Review
