Institute of Marketing and Management Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

In the tier-2 category, there are various PGDM colleges in Delhi like FOSTIIMA, New Delhi Institute of Management, JIMS, and IMM. Well, since I have been a part of IMM, I will say that IMM was among the above names and the most valuable choice. Well, since I was adamant that I will be doing PGDM from Delhi, these were all the options that I had and I feel, I chose the best. The courses that IIM offers are general PGDM and some specializations like Analytics, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, etc. One is free to choose the course they want as Finance and Marketing are among the most sought-after ones. Digital Marketing may have taken over now as the E-Commerce business in India is growing and therefore the demand also is quite high. One must know that admissions here are not that easy as to get admissions here, one needs to have a suitable score in competitive exams such as CMAT, MAT, XAT, CAT, etc. Placements are good but ROI may not be justifiable as only 70% of students are placed on an average and therefore the sword of uncertainty is always there.Read Full Review

IMM is one of the leading B-Schools in Delhi located in Greater Kailash which is one of the best areas in Delhi. What IMM Delhi does best is set the tempo early on while what many other colleges do is go slow at the beginning and then just go bang bang. This is where the real difference lies between IMM and its peers. The colleges are often accused of being an education-less wonder but I pity those who said so. The fees of the college are cheaper than many and also the placements are as good as them. Some of the colleges charge the fees in one year that IMM charges in two years and yet they couldn’t make their students placed. So, what’s the point in getting to such colleges as anyways placements cards are never a guarantee. I was unlocked immediately here because I saw other students start unleashing with the tempo that college has set and after having such a great time during my graduation days, I knew my fun time was over as action time has begun.Read Full Review

After UG, PGDM became more of a compulsory thing because back home, the family business needed me and I was still not done with my college life. I wanted more of it and I seriously worked hard for it too. I came to the college scoring really well in MAT and thereby carried a lot of dreams, ambitions, and aspirations. Institute of Marketing and Management New Delhi is not the kind of institute that has sole focus on studies but they make students skilled so that the students can grow at a personal level. The schedule of IMM though was quite rigorous as meeting industry stalwarts and taking some leaf out of their books was some of the best opportunities presented to us. We didn’t stay at the four walls as we did things to cross those walls of our life at IMM. In short, IMM provided us with the best understanding of the business world and how corporations run their companies to grow exponentially every year.Read Full Review
