Siddaganga Institute of Technology Tumkur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is very large. For each Engineering Stream, there is distinct building and separate department. The campus also has cafeteria, canteen, auditorium, and media centre. The campus is covered with trees, which makes surroundings beautiful. SIT has its own stadium that also has indoor games arena and GYM.

The campus life of SIT is very good. Crowd is very decent. There are many clubs like technical, theatre, and music. Technical club organizes many technical events and conferences that are very beneficial for students. Anyone can join to these clubs through selection process. There are 2 institute fests, one in the month of June or July as it's a summer fest called ‘Halcyon’ and other in the month of November called ‘Spandan’ and it is a cultural fest.Read Full Review

An absolute thumbs-up as in a semi-urban town of Tumakuru having campus of this class is unimaginable. The campus is vast and is spread across 65 acres of land. There are some high-rise buildings which are newly built otherwise, the old buildings are renovated and being managed for admin purposes. The hostels need a revamp because buildings are in poor condition. The campus has some beautiful views as flora and fauna are SIT campus's theme. The campus is being watched thoroughly, and forget about the strangers even stray dogs can’t make an entry to the campus. The campus is nice and beautiful with enough amenities to make student glued to the campus.

The college has many student clubs that host many quizzes and debates. Along with that, guest talks and technical symposiums are hosted all around the year. There are enough resources at the campus and I made most use of all of them. Sports has never been my forte, but I fell in love with cycling and badminton at the campus. Thus, if you aspire for higher education and find it challenging to get placed in top colleges, SIT is not far from many top colleges.Read Full Review
