Shyam Lal College (Evening) New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The academic blocks are good and the campus size is big. Talking about infrastructure, from outside looks good but that's not the case in reality. Some of the classrooms are big but some are small and there is no auditorium, it is the biggest problem for the college. There are labs, Seminar halls, and library with well stocked books. The canteen is good but prices are on the higher side. Sports facilities for hockey, football, baseball, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket is available. Although we lose cricket matches every time. Nearest metro is about 600m away and there is a bus stop too. There is ATM in the college campus. College grounds are best. There is a water cooler. Toilets are not good though.

Overall campus life in the college is great until you are away from politics. The students are good and helpful. There are societies to take part and enjoy your college life. Most of the girls who are here, enjoy themselves a lot but then also there is a shortage of female students. The infrastructure is good for a college in a place like Shahdara but it could have been better. For playing sports we have volleyball court and a ground where you can play football, cricket, etc. Class infrastructure is average and kind of old, it needs some maintenance. Hostel facility is not provided by the college so students have to make arrangements on their own.

You won't get an exceptional experience from the college. Your College life will be much better if you join the societies in the college. There are societies for people of different interpersonal skills and interests. These societies / clubs provide you with engaging activities and events. Shyam Lal College (Evening) has two buildings, one is new and the other one is old. The old building has four floors and the new building has two floors which are well-furnished and have good benches and blackboards. There are also two computer labs, two libraries that have all the course books.

Fests are held on the regular basis and this college has around 50 societies more than 50 which organises different fests in the span of 1 month. Some seminars are organised and some societies also take students to visit industries like Coca-Cola SEBI.Read Full Review
