Located in Bangalore, Karnataka, RV University (RVU) started its operations in the year 2019 under the aegis of Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). This Private University is approved by UGC and recognised by the Government of Karnataka & BCI.

* Some of the courses such as B.Tech and M.Tech contain the fees of Management quota. In addition, the students need to pay several other charges apart from the tuition fees.

* The fee differs for the students applying through Government Quota (including CET / PGCET / JEE Main).

Note: The University conducts ‘RV Scholastic Admission Test’ (RVSAT) for the students applying to the UG and PG courses. Students who have appeared for any State or National level test are exempted from this entrance test.

Admission Process

RV University admission process is completely online and interested students can apply through its official website.

The criteria of filling admissions seats of the University differ for Management and Government quota. Students applying through Management quota will be selected based on the prior academic performance / State or National level entrance test. For Government quota, seats will be allotted through KEA.

* Admissions are granted to the International students as well. However, the admission process, necessary documents, fee structure, eligibility criteria, etc. differs for them.

Reservation Criteria

RV University Bangalore has reserved some of the admission seats for students applying through Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) i.e., Government Quota for admission in professional courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. As per the norms of the University, students need to qualify CET or other exam in order to apply under reservation criteria.

RV University Bangalore offers a number of scholarships to the needy and talented students to reduce their financial burden. The scholarships are offered in various categories like merit-based, sports, entrance test, alumni, and many others. In addition, these scholarships are applicable on 1^st year tuition fees of the respective courses.

Sports Scholarships

Students who have qualified an Inter-National and National level sports can avail 50% & 35% scholarships, respectively.

Merit-Scholarships

Following are the scholarships that are offered based on score of CUET / CAT / MAT / CLAT and many other exams:

• Based on CUET Score: To get eligible for the scholarship, students need to pass CUET exam with below-stated percentage:
  • 25% Scholarship: 80% or above.
  • 15% Scholarship: minimum 65% or less than 80%
• Based on CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT: Students applying for the MBA program get 20% scholarship if they have qualified any entrance test like CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT with following criteria:
  • 7+ CGPA or GPA.
  • More than 75%.
  • 65 percentile or above.
• Based on CLAT Rank: In order to avail the scholarship offered under Law courses, a student should have secured below-mentioned rank in CLAT exam:
