JIIT Noida also known as Jaypee Institute of Information Technology started its operations in the year 2001 and received the status of ‘Deemed-to-be-University’ by UGC in 2004. Special Points to Consider
*As per the University’s eligibility criteria, students need to obtain at least 60% marks for admission in the afore-mentioned Bachelors & Masters courses (except MBA). Moreover, it is mandatory for them to obtain passing grades in all subjects in their last qualifying examination.
*Class 12th appearing students are also eligible for admission in above-mentioned UG courses.
*SC / ST category students will get some relaxation in the qualifying marks of around 5% under B.Tech, BBA, BCA, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, and other courses.
*The JIIT Noida conducts their entrance test i.e., Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admission in few courses. Students can also apply with CUET UG and CUET PG scores.
Admission Process
The admission form of the JIIT Noida is available in both online and offline mode. Therefore, students can visit its official website then they can either apply online or download the offline form and then send it via post to the University.
In accordance with the JIIT Noida admission criteria, students will be selected based on their academic performance in the last qualifying examination and score obtained in the University’s entrance test (UGET / PGET) or State / National level exam. Moreover, the selection procedure may vary depending on the program chosen by the student.
*Students belonging to NRI / OCI / CWGC / Foreign National /CIWGC / SAARC categories can get admission at the University. However, the fees, eligibility, and procedure for admission are different for them.
Reservation Criteria
Jaypee Noida ensures that students from economically disadvantaged groups can get access to higher education. Therefore, the Deemed University has reserved 15% of the seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST) category students under all courses.
