My Experience was Good at JIIT, Noida

Overall Rating
My experience in my institute has been quite good. The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India. The highest packages of recent years are as follows: 2024- 60 LPA/ 2023- 80.6 LPA/ 2022- 1.1CPA. Different thing in this institute is the curriculum, this institute is quite impressive like the faculties are superb and the events hosted by this institute teach you a lot about real world.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I have chosen is Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology (IT) and the motive behind enrolling in the same is the opportunities which this course will provide me. It will also help me in upgrading my skills. Entry requirements are quite simple, admission is based on your 12th board percentage or JEE- MAINS exam. There is different counselling for both of them. Exams are held after every 2 months. There are 3 exams in per semester that is T1, T2 and T3.
The total tuition fees for all B.Tech courses is Rs. 14,41,900. fees for 1st year: Rs. 3,34,600; 2nd year: Rs. 3,51,300; 3rd year: Rs. 3,68,800, and 4th year: Rs. 3,87,200.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in JIIT Noida are excellent. They are very knowledgeable, cooperative and respectful. The faculties are qualified from reputed universities like Indian Institute of Technology, Birla Institute of Technology Science, and more. The teacher student ratio in our institute is 1:40. My bonding is quite good with my teachers and all the faculties have their respective cabins where students can approach them anytime they want, it’s super easy.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. It helps students connecting with different employers. Placements are very good in our institute with average package being 11 LPA and median package being 9LPA. The highest package of 2024 was 60 LPA. Renowned companies which come to our institute are Adobe, Google, Samsung, HCL, Infosys, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our institute has hostel facilities which make it easier for the students from other cities to stay comfortably. There are total of 500 seats in boy’s hostels and 200 in girl’s hostels. The hostel charges are Rs. 2,00,000 per year. The mess food is really good in our mess. It’s like home away from home feeling. The campus gate gets closed after 9 P.M. whereas hostels get closed after 10 P.M.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 2 different blocks in our institute 1 for B.Tech students and another one for BBA and MBA students. Campus size is quite small according to other private institutes; it’s just spread over 15 acres and is situated in sector 62 Noida which is the corporate hub of Noida. There are various academic facilities available in our campus like Library, auditorium and open air theatre (OAT). There are 2 canteens available in our campus named as ANNAPURNA 1 and 2.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is average, to be honest. The overall crowd is quite decent and the students come from well reputed families. There are various clubs present in our institute like dance club, sports club, debating society, etc. There are various fest and events hosted by our institute like EBULLIENCE (fest for freshers) and CONVERGE (annual fest) which helps students enjoy a bit with their studies and have fun.

    Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.     Been in this college for about 5 months and can say that the academic curriculum is just perfect. Not too much load for studies not that less either as compared to other colleges you will get rather difficult test papers but teachers teach at same level too so won’t be that big of an issue. One thing I must tell is that you won’t be able to do extracurricular activities much because of campus area restrains. The area is very small but well utilised.... Read Full Review
