Inside Review of JIIT, Noida

Overall Rating
Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility. Hard academics. If you put good amount of effort, you can make good return on investment. Although the college has degraded a bit but still it pretty decent among the private colleges.
 

Academics Rating
A decent academic infrastructure. But a little hard. But the subjects are as per latest industry norms. The academics is very well designed for the student. Every student need to achieve 165 credit score for graduating. In order to receive honors graduation certificate, a student must have 8.5 CGPA.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties are really cooperative. They even solve your doubts after college hours. But few are not up to the mark. Few teachers will just tease you and insult whereas other teachers are very friendly. Just don't spoil your image in front of the teacher otherwise you will in big trouble. The teachers are only responsible for giving you all the marks.
 

Placement Rating
The placement packages is a great factor behind choosing this college. The packages used to be very lucrative in its prime, but due to recession the placements are a bit affected
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel rooms are quite spacious with 2 person allotted to a single room. But the mess is pretty bad. You get only veg menu and too not very tasty. In the mess you can eat for survival but not for taste.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure here is pretty decent. One cannot complain about it. They have art laboratories with all the essential equipments and stuffs. Infrastructure in Jaypee is something to brag about. It is finely designed for the students and every student appreciates it. They even have the high tech technologies in the 5G lab for ECE department.
 

Campus Rating
The campus area is only of 15 acres. There is not much to do so, the campus life is pretty boring. We have one temple, a café, and an A-Z general store which is also a mini cafe. People mostly hang out in cafe, A-Z and on OAT (open air theatre). We do have a big lawn where earlier people used to sit after dinner but nowadays organic fertilizers are spread all over the lawn so no one sits there.

    My experience in my institute has been quite good. The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India.     From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.     Been in this college for about 5 months and can say that the academic curriculum is just perfect. Not too much load for studies not that less either as compared to other colleges you will get rather difficult test papers but teachers teach at same level too so won’t be that big of an issue.
