Prestige Institute of Management and Research Indore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The College is not that big as I am comparing it with my previous College and other B-Schools that I saw before taking admissions here. The building of the campus is well equipped as there are 20 labs in the building. Water and washrooms were taken care of completely and lastly the parking area. In MP, it's tough to find people who don't own a two-wheeler after joining the College. The canteen was small but Indori Pohe was my everyday breakfast at the College canteen. Sports facilities from indoor to outdoor were quite average and that was the reason, the playing areas were hardly occupied.

PIMR is quite keen on organizing workshops and seminars for students. The skills and variations required for management studies were honed by taking us for outings to industrial visits. Yes, they didn't always get it right as we were once taken to some industries when they weren't operational. Invariably, though, the College gave us a quality campus life because the crowd was desperate to learn and having them around, positive energy stuck to each other. The college campus is quite small but has all the facilities inside. The college location is posh and Bombay hospital is next to the college which is the biggest landmark to reach the college. The college has one of the best libraries and is opened from 8 am to 6 pm. PIMR’s computer lab was one of the most advanced Computer labs I have seen with over 100 pcs. The main building has an auditorium that was also used for audiovisual quizzes and other events that took place in the college. The tidiness though is questionable as Indore has been awarded the cleanest city award numerous times but the college is not that clean. You will see piece of garbage’s on floors and even the canteen is not that neat. The college has a badminton court, TT room, and a small cricket ground.

The fees of MBA was cheap in comparison to many other private colleges. Students of various backgrounds study at the college and equal opportunities are provided to all. College’s annual fest, Manthan was as amazing as anything as it had cultural programs to modern dance shows. Students were given the liberty to provide their things in the roster and the nod from the HOD was just a mere formality as they backed students in showing all that they got. It was lovely to be a part of a college that gave me a good career opportunity. One will feel secured inside the campus as it had enough security guards to control things. The College is equipped with good infrastructure. There is a lab facility on every floor. College also offers sports facilities such as sports rooms, cricket area, football area, badminton area. Overall the college provides a good infrastructure with a standardized atmosphere and many events take place throughout the year. One of the biggest advantages is that the college is situated in a very good locality of the city from where all the modes of convenience are available. The cons include a high fee structure for the middle class, no availability of Wi-Fi, labs & classrooms are not clean.

The campus of the college is not large enough, it’s small. However, the atmosphere of the college is fine. Seniors are supportive and guide juniors in many aspects. Even the non-teaching staff is also very cooperative and helps students in many ways. There are more boys in the college as compare to girls and most of the students come from good educational backgrounds. Institution witnesses many cultural events, activities, and programs throughout the year. The major events include Manthan, which is a 3-day grand celebration, Pradhan week, a four days event, and Mfest, a sport event. There is no gender discrimination and ragging in the institute. Institute also has its own discipline committee to ensure that no such negative activity takes place on the campus.Read Full Review
