IIIT Bhubaneswar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus size of our Institution is quite small, also remotely located in Bhubaneswar about 15 KMs away from railway stations. The classrooms are well maintained and are very spacious with occupancy of 80 to 90 people. There is one central library and one reading room dedicated for studying purposes. There are 4-5 computer labs and canteen in the campus for the students. Also there is one Nescafe, one general store and a newly constructed gym.

My overall campus life is quite good and the overall crowd is very limited. There are various clubs for people interested in different co-curricular activities (like Tech Society, Cultural Society, Photography Club, and E-cell). I have been part of the Robotics and Automation Society. There is a four day techno-cultural fest called Adavaita, which is a time where students enjoy the most apart from this various events take place regularly in our Institutions like E cell submit, farewell party (called tasveer), freshers party and also every major festival is celebrated here in our campus.Read Full Review

Total Campus size is 23 acres. There is an academic building including a library, conference hall, and an auditorium. Campus has a canteen for snacks. Every 2 to 3 weeks doctor from SUM hospital visits for checkup. Also, there is a football ground in which cricket matches are organized. As of my experience infrastructure is good but can be improved.

Campus life is good. We have biggest techno cultural fest Called ‘Advaita’. Many coding events are conducted in our institute with best prize pool. Also, there are many societies which help students to improve their skills. I am not a part of any society yet because it doesn't give any benefit as per my knowledge in academics.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the institute is average. Every floor has routers and Wi-Fi is available 24/7 with good speed. The campus is cleaned regularly including the classrooms. Library is full of different types of books and even though it's small in size, it's rich in variety. It closes at 8 P.M. Unlike other institutes, the library remains closed at weekends. All departmental labs are present and well-maintained. There is one institute store at the campus. Even though the size of reading room is small, it has fully air conditioned which provides comfortable environment for studying.

‘Advita’ is the annual techno-cultural event conducted at the institute. It usually takes place for 4 days and is one of big fests of Bhubaneswar and is attended by famous celebrities like Arman Malik. Sports events are also organised with both Inter-institute and intra-institute competitions.
