Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pune

There are around 14 DY Patil Vidyapeeth hostels for boys & girls namely ‘Waterlily’, ‘Shivam’, ‘Orchid’, ‘Aadya’, and others with an overall accommodation capacity of approximately 3151 students.

Students can opt for single / double / triple occupancy AC or Non-AC rooms at the hostels available within the premises of DY Patil Vidyapeeth which features essential facilities like bed, study table, etc.

The DY Patil Vidyapeeth hostel residents should abide by the rules which has been set up by the authorities and few of these are mentioned below:

• Students are not permitted to paste any kind of pictures / posters on the hostel walls as fine will be levied on them for doing the same.
• Hostellers should avoid bringing or consuming banned materials like alcoholic beverages and upon violation of this rule they will have to face serious repercussions.
• Residents should close the taps and switch off lights & fans when not in use as wastage of any of these resources will not be entertained by the respective authorities.
• In case, students who want to stay outside the hostel premises overnight then they are supposed to connect with the Chief Warden for permission which will be granted only after proving a written request duly signed by parents / guardians.
• Residents should strictly avoid permitting any unauthorised person inside their hostel rooms.
• Hostellers should keep the premises of the residential area clean otherwise they will be expelled from the hostel.

There are around 9 girls hostels namely ‘Marigold’, ‘Daffodils’, ‘Orchid’, ‘Waterlily’, ‘Shri Rajrajeshwari’, etc. and approximately 5 hostels for male students including ‘Shivam’, ‘Aadya’, and others which are available inside the DY Patil Vidyapeeth Campus.

The hostels available for female students comprise around 882 rooms in total with capacity of about 2500 individuals. Also, approximately 651 boys can be accommodated within around 252 rooms which are there at the hostels of male students. Along with this, DPU Pune hostels at Pimpri campus incorporate Non-AC 3-seater rooms only, however, both AC & Non-AC single, double & triple sharing rooms are there at the Tathawade campus hostels.

All the rooms available at the DPU Pune hostels are equipped with several amenities which are required in everyday lives including bed, chair, study table, chair, and wardrobe.
