Shri Shikshayatan College Kolkata Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Each classroom has AC with smart boards. It is beautifully decorated with plants. There are well equipped labs. There are also Science labs, Audio visual rooms, Common rooms, Yoga rooms, etc There two auditoriums. The seminars are usually held in the auditoriums. There is physical library with an E- library where you have ample academic sources. There is a stationary store for students. The classrooms are of different capacity depending on the seats of the departments. The infrastructure is up to the mark with collaborative setup. They have 2 auditoriums, out of which one has sitting capacity of around 400 students.

My overall campus life is good. There are various clubs in the College. There is Sport society, Media society, Literary society, Electoral club, Debate society, Drama society, Dance society, etc. They provide more than enough opportunities honestly. There are various Events and Fests each year. The Clubs and the society here are lively too that help you brush and build your skills in College life.Read Full Review

Infrastructure is top notch with well equipped classroom and clean campus. All classrooms have air conditioning facilities. The college also has a library, canteen, gym, swimming pool, basket ball ground, and a common room. The common room and canteen is the best place to relax during the break between the classes.

The college is very strict. It is also known for upholding cultures, morals and principles. Every college has its pros and cons but Shikshayatan has many pros and less cons. 75% attendance is mandatory. Wi-Fi is also available in the college. There is a well equipped library with lots of books which help students to borrow book from there and not buy it resulting in saving money. The academic blocks are clean and clear. It also has lift and well equipped labs. Overall it’s an aristocratic building. Washrooms are mostly clean and have the requirements of women.

It has a mediocre environment. A basketball court is there and 50m tracks and also a swimming pool. It also has a common room filled with carrom board, table tennis board, and gym instruments. Game room is also there filled with every sports accessories. Although the swimming pool is not free for students you need to give certain amount for swimming differently. Every classroom also has AC making it comfortable for students. SRIJAN the fest of shikshayatan is well known but after covid years it did not happen. Different societies are there: Bengali creative society (chorcha), official dance society (nritya chandam), debate society (DEBSOC), and many more.
