Shri Shikshayatan College

The College has a Placement Cell that provides career counselling to the students, organises training sessions, and conducts recruitment drives. Shri Shikshayatan College Placement Cell conducts grooming sessions for the students so that they are ready to step into the industrial sector and fulfill the ongoing job requirements.

The College covers a land area of around 1.83 acres and contains numerous educational & other facilities. The College focuses on providing an e-learning academic space to the students by setting up numerous air-conditioned classrooms with digital facilities like projectors, smart boards, and other AV equipment.

• Library: There is an air-conditioned general & few other libraries at the College which comprises numerous academic materials like books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, etc. Adequate facilities are available in the library for accessing the subscribed databases and platforms. Other than this, the library has separate study rooms, reprographic services, newspaper clippings, and many other facilities.
• Laboratories: The College has fully-equipped computer labs in the campus with HP workstations and other modern devices. High-tech labs with requisite amenities are present within the academic departments of the College to promote ‘application based learning’ among the students.

• Auditorium: The College organises cultural programs and academic events in the multi-purpose auditorium which has a seating capacity of around 400 students.
• Seminar Hall & Conference Room: A 105-seater seminar hall and conference room is built by the College with amenities like projectors, audio-visual aids, and screen. These halls & rooms are used to host small scale events like formal meetings, interviews, seminars, etc.
• Cafeteria: Students can fulfil their dietary needs through the canteen / cafeteria that is present inside the premises of the College.
• Sports: For the overall growth & development of the students, the College provides adequate sports facilities including grounds & courts for Basketball, Badminton, Throwball, and other outdoor games. Also, a common room is there containing facilities for indoor games like Chess, Carrom, Table-Tennis, and requisite gym equipment. The College conducts sports meets for the students on an annual basis.
• Healthcare Facilities: Basic medical facilities are provided to the students through the health unit of the College. For emergency cases, the College has tie-ups with nearby hospitals.
