Campus life is too good in K J Somaiya Institute of Technology. Technical fest is of 2-3 days, which is the best. Activities like coding competitions are held regularly. Along with MAC rumble, BGMI tournaments are also held in fest. Cultural fest is also best. Many students get opportunities to highlight their talent. Even DJ nights are organized. It contains the main building, with 8 floors. There is also an air-conditioned auditorium and an amazing library. The library contains a lot of resources and various books for many courses, along with different novels of varied genres. We have a separate seminar hall and a cafeteria with an amphitheater. It also has a multi-purpose ground for different sports, a cricket turf, and a different ground usually used to play football and for track events. Different labs are assigned for each individual branch with appropriate facilities and equipment.

The campus life here at KJSIT, is an exceptional blend of fun, excitment, academics and growth. It offers various opportunities to explore our interests with committees such as The student council, CSI, IEEE, ISTE, and many more. It consists of clubs such as GDSE, S4DS, IOT, Robocon, NLI, and various others. We have a cultural fest, "The Surge"; Sports fest, "Score"; and a Techfest "The Renaissance,” annually. We are also provided with various other opportunities, such as NSS for volunteering and blood donation camps. Celebration of major festivals and days are held, which helps greatly in fostering friendships. Official educational trips are also organized as a part of the learning experience along with multiple informative and development seminars throughout the terms. At the end of everything, K. J. In K J Somaiya Institute of Technology Campus there is also a hospital, medical institute and physiotherapy institute. The location of institute is in Sion, Mumbai and the campus is located near Chunabhatti Station. The campus is huge with a big and proper football ground, proper Volleyball ground and a small turf. Some classrooms are big and some are rather small in comparison. The big Classrooms can fit 60-80 students and small ones which fit 30-40 students.

Overall Campus life is good at K J Somaiya Institute of Technology as various technical, cultural and sports events are conducted. There are also various committees that conduct their own events throughout the year. There are also industrial visits to various places like Tarapur Plant and Reliance Industry visits where you can get familiar with industry trends and also gain internship opportunities in some cases. The Cultural festival Surge is conducted once a year in March in which dance competition department wise and singing and other such activities take place, there is also DJ night and sometimes famous celebrities are also invited in the fests and events. The sports festival which is Score is also conducted in month of March. In it various sports activities like Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, turf football, Dodge ball, Box cricket, chess, carrom, Table tennis, Pushups competition, pull ups competition and other such events are conducted.Read Full Review
