Ramdeobaba University

Formerly known as Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Ramdeobaba University started its operations under the aegis of Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti in the year 1984. The campus of this Private University is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra and is approved by both UGC & AICTE.

Ramdeobaba University is recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), and accredited by NAAC & National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

RBU Nagpur is popular for its Engineering courses offered with industry aligned curriculum, and proven placement records.

*Additional charges are added in the fees stated above. Moreover, the qualifying marks & fees differ for the industry integrated courses offered under B.Tech &MBA; details about the same are not included in the aforementioned table.

* It is to be noted that the students seeking admission in any of the above-mentioned programs except B.Tech should secure minimum 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam. In addition, the University offers 5% relaxation to the reserved category students under all courses.

Note: The Institution conducts an entrance test namely, ‘Ramdeobaba University Post Graduate Entrance Exam’ (RUPEE) for MBA & MCA course, and ‘RUBEE’ for B.Tech.

Admission Process

The applications for Ramdeobaba University admissions are available on its official website and interested students can register themselves. After the registration process, students will receive login ID & password to fill the application form and then they can pay the respective fee amount & upload necessary documents.

According to the University’s admission criteria, the seats will be filled on the basis of past academic performance along with University’s test (RUPEE or RUBEE) or State / National level entrance test.

* International students are eligible to apply for the admissions; however their requirements concerning course’s fee, admission procedure, documents, etc. differ from those for domestic students.

Ramdeobaba University provides financial aid to the students to uplift them and make education accessible for everyone. The scholarships are offered under merit and need-based categories.

EWS Scholarship

This scholarship is provided to the students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and it is applicable for all courses. In addition to this, students can avail 50% scholarship and they must submit the requisite documents as a proof of their economic status.

Merit Scholarship

Ample merit scholarships are available under UG & PG programs and they are offered under different eligibility conditions. Few of them are as follows:

• B.Tech program

The University offers scholarships to the students who are applying to B.Tech course and have secured below-mentioned percentile in JEE Main or CET; refer to the table for more details:

* 25% scholarship is provided to the students who have obtained 97 percentile or above in the University’s test i.e., ‘RUBEE’ exam.

• For MBA

Under MBA course, students can avail 50% scholarship which is offered to those who have secured 95 percentile or more in CAT.

Additionally, 20% scholarship is provided under BCA and BBA courses based on ‘MHTCET’ entrance test. In order to get eligible for the same, a minimum 98 percentile or more should be obtained by the student.

Some special points regarding the scholarships are listed below:

• The scholarship amount will be only applicable on the academic fee of the respective course.
• It is to be noted that the scholarship will be applied on the entire course duration.
• Moreover, for the continuation of the same, students need to obtain required marks.
• In case of a backlog, the given scholarship will be cancelled.
• Students should know that the scholarship cannot be transferred to any other person.
