NIT Srinagar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus is big and beautiful as it is close to 70 acres of land and gazing from any corner, one will find beauty around. Various blocks and ours are best as just 36 students in our class and therefore during breaks we literally sleep in the benches, as they are wide and long. There are two canteens at the campus and best part is not just the cameras all around the campus but also security is tight.

For the first time in my life, I witness a tech fest, as Techvaganza our annual tech fest was outstanding. Students from various other institutes came and displayed talent, which I have not seen in my life. The same was our annual fest. In our Institute, we have modern infrastructure, spacious and air-conditioned classrooms, lecture halls, labs and one of the highly recognised libraries in J&K with a full 5G network. We have separate academic blocks, mess office faculty blocks, executive blocks, hostels, canteen, cafeteria, barber shops, Nescafe, fruit shops, general stores, stationery, and many more facilities inside our campus. We really don't have to go outside the campus for anything.

The campus life at National Institute of Technology Srinagar is one of the best experiences I have had in my life. My favorite part of being in Institute is the snowfall that we get to experience every winter, whole Institute looks so serene. In my campus, you can find different clubs and committees- all are active and also there are many student-driven bodies, which is perhaps the best part of it. Together we celebrate many festivals and enjoy every single event or occasion. We have Institute fests; which are the best part of campus life. Campus has different academic blocks for every department. Campus is large and classrooms are also well-ventilated and have the best seating. Labs are well designed. They also have play grounds for different sports. They have different libraries which are separate and they have ID cards for different libraries, without which they do not allow students to enter in the libraries. We also have canteens.

Campus life is absolutely amazing as we do so many activities other than academics. Institute does not have huge crowd as they have limited seats in every department. There are different clubs for different activities. Fests are held frequently in the Institute. Also, my experience in the Institute is very good.Read Full Review
