NIT Srinagar Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

In all, there are 5 boys’ and 2 girls’ hostels are the campus. 1st year students though have to be sorry as a room with 4 to 5 seaters are the only ones that are provided to them. 80% students are outsiders and therefore this rule is actually little problematic. We have separate girls' and boys’ hostels. There are 5 girls hostel and 7-8 boys hostel, which are spacious and quite good. Mess food is good and there is a special menu on festivals. Girls should report to hostel before 8:30 PM. Hostel rules are simple to follow.Read Full Review

Yes, Institute offer residential facilities there are separate hostel areas for boys and girls as students are from far state stay here only local students from Kashmir are day scholars. Hostels are good and are enough; There are almost 5 to 6 girls’ hostel and 7 to 9 boys’ hostel. Each room has 5, 3, or 2 students depending upon hostel and your year. Mess food is quite decent and nutritious, special menu is there for every festival. Hostel-in time for girls is 8:30 PM, which vary in each season and boys is 12 PM at night. I stay in hostel I am satisfied feels like 2nd home. It’s hygienic and have good environment.Read Full Review
