GEC Palamu Fees Structure & Courses 2026

I am pursuing Mechanical Engineering, and the academics are good. To get admission in the college, one has to clear JEE Main examination with the minimum required percentile in the college and overall rank. If a student pays good attention in the classes and is regular, he can do very well in the examinations. The curriculum is a little outdated but new subject have been added to keep it relevant.

There are four branches in this college (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and computer science). The entry requirements are as follows: 1. JEE score card and the percentage should be above 80 and between 87. 2. Appear for JCECE counseling after the JEE Main exam or you can also opt for direct admission in the last round of JCECE. The Eligibility criteria for taking admission into Government Engineering College Palamu is either you have the current year JEE Score card. 2. JCECE counseling allotment letter. 3. If allotment is through category quota, then you have to produce caste Certificate and current year income certificate. My motive was to pursue Engineering in B.Tech degree through government college.
